Texas Commercial Freshwater Fishing License
The Coastal Fisheries Division of the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) is responsible for managing freshwater commercial fisheries by protecting, conserving, and enhancing Texas marine resources. Texas freshwater commercial fishing is defined as; any activity that involves taking or handling fresh or saltwater aquatic products for pay or for the purpose of barter, sale, or exchange. Purchasing a Texas Freshwater Fishing License
When obtaining a TX freshwater fishing license or permit, depending on the type of fishing you want to do, you might be required to also purchase a stamp endorsement, so fees will vary. The TPWD offers a couple different options to purchase your license.
